Oh geeez.

Life around here hasn't been to wild or crazy since I'm learning to cope with my child who is a complete mischievous little monster. Alex really has become more of a little mischievous monster than ever lately. He's decided that when we take a shower now he needs to get in with us, clothes and all. It's cute at first because he pulls the curtain and plays peek-a-boo and gives you funny faces until whoever is in the shower starts to get cold. But that's not the end of it, he then pulls the curtain all the way to the end, exposing the entire shower and yourself in it. And he's now learning how to get in, he'll try and hop in with us which is more of a hassle than fun.

Doesn't that look like the face of a baby up to no good? This is the face we're getting all the time now.

I've been trying to get a bunch of things accomplished around here lately, I've been looking at classes for photography that I'm interested in. Trying to start a new blog which is kind of interesting, and also I'm actually trying to plan a fun valentine's day for us and get started on plans for Alex's birthday.. even though it's a month or two down the road. Can you tell I'm excited? John has been working hard and doing what he does best being an amazing salesman, and on top of that helping out around the house (amazing isn't it?) and still finding time to spend tons of times with Alex and I. Oh, and still teaching Alex things he doesn't need to be learning to do yet and causing more of a headache for me. I swear that kid is a fast learner.. I think he got that one from me!

And after a few weeks of John bragging about his phone, and me slowly realizing that I could use anything to check my emails and instant message without a computer my son is able to attack I broke down and got a Blackberry, Here it is.. my second hand man who helps solve any issues I have. I can't believe I just said that. If I don't know if I am spelling a word right I can check, and if I can't find a measurement for something I'm cooking I look it up. It's honestly a great investment and after selling my LG Dare I made 50 bucks back on the whole thing. Now who doesn't like a bargain for something they really want? I'm glad I got it over an iPhone because knowing me I'd be racking up tons of money on songs and games on that thing. And who doesn't want to get on facebook via cell phone!

David and Rachel came in town for a week and all of us got to spend time together. It was so nice to spend time with them since it'd been awhile since we'd seen them last. Rachel and I got to go shopping all day for baby stuff and find her some cute maternity clothing, which I actually would wear even if I wasn't pregnant! We all ate at Wingers (because Dave is obsessed with the place) And of course we had to play board games like Apple to Apple which I can brag that I won! And we played Spazz which I've never played and ended up with a sore forehead and a migraine! But it was good to see them and catch up, it makes me want to travel to see family more often. And of course the one time I have my camera and I take almost no photos while they were here.

Dave becoming a Blackberry fanatic..

All of us after playing Spazz, can't you tell they're all worn out? =]

Alex was way to excited to be able to be part of all the game excitement. That and watch us make fools of ourselves..lol.

This was funny even though the lighting was horrible and it's blurry it was almost like Alex was telling everyone he was going to conquer the stairs and nobody could stop him.. boy was that true. He practices daily.. only under supervision of course.

The weather here was starting to worry me because we weren't actually getting any snow. I normally could careless because I hate snow but since family is coming up here to spend time with us and go skiing/snowboarding I was hoping it'd get colder and snow again. Low and behold after wondering what the deal was we finally got dumped on once again. The weather here always finds a way to surprise me.

I need a vacation.

The last few weeks have been a bet more time consuming and busy then I would of ever imagined. I feel like I could use a nice long vacation on a beach with an umbrella in my cup. Alex is now officially into everything.. and when I say everything.. it's everything. He's in the drawer, climbing on the dish washer trying to mess with the DVDs and the Stereo system.. and that's just a few examples. I literally don't get to sit on the couch and relax unless he's taking a nap or eating. It drives me insane!! I do love him but in recent view of the situation and me trying to find a way to distract him from either hurting himself (which happens a lot lately) or breaking something. He now knows how to climb all the way up the stairs and honestly scared the pants off of me doing it.. I literally had a heart attack.

In other news I've had bad things happening to me left and right. Guess who is yet again teething and got a double ear infection? I really wish I could say me, because the poor guy is miserable and so are John and I. It's never been this bad and after a 103.5 fever I've put this on the list of ONE of the worst things I've been through with Alex. 2 months of acid reflux takes 1st and will for the rest of baby/toddler years I hope. Good thing is though that after he got his medicine naps, bedtime, feeding and his mood all went back to normal in less than 6 hours. THANK GOODNESS!

I didn't know food was so exhausting.. I went to the bathroom during lunch and came back to this..

Oh and over Christmas vacation my stroller also broke, I feel extremely lucky lately. I love Chicco, everything about them until my stroller broke and I almost threw it into on coming traffic. I have to say one thing though, I wasn't very delicate with it and I should of known it was bound to happen. But I called them and I've never had more amazing customer service and have people willing to do anything to help. They sent me out a new one right away, right before Christmas and it got here the following week! I was so lucky and the new one is great.. I love how they did me right.

This new fancy thing has become a new favorite of mine, I had to retire my old diaper bag.It finally ripped and I started searching for a new one, I searched and searched and tried to find a good deal on a nice one. I found a Fleurville that I loved and just had to have, I couldn't pass up a cute diaper bag for a good price and who doesn't deserve to carry a nice bag when you have to put all your favorite purses on hold for a few years!

Walking seems to be closer and closer in our near future, I've been dying for him to be able to ride on this duck since I bought it.. It's the funniest thing ever.

Since all of this post took me about 4 days to write since we've got family in town and I haven't been home the last 4 days to do much I think I'm going to relax on the couch and play some Wii Fit, I know you're jealous.

10 Months Old

Wow... I can't believe how much Alex is really changing, everyday I notice something new that has changed about him.

-Cruising around with his toys
-Giving us high fives & waving every now and then
-Can bend down to pick things up (hilarious)
-Size 6 diapers (not for long let's hope)
-Can sit himself up, which he's been doing forever I guess?
-Standing on anything he can find
-Drinking out of a sippy cup part-time
-Saying Mama and Dada non-stop. Possibly saying Yum and Bye?
-Clicking his tongue.. and still doing his spitting trick (thanks John =)
-Learning to shake his head when I say no
-Throwing Mini-Tantrums (by far my favorite)
-Oh and lets not forget climbing the stairs

Do you blame me for not wanting to do anything but rest? Between him and the Wii Fit I'm exhausted, and I'm on the hunt for a deal on a Britax, he's getting to big for his other "big boy" car seat. You never save a dime with kids.. I swear.

So while we're waiting..

Well I'm still waiting to get back in touch with bloggled, I spoke to the owner who is awesome and they said they're doing there best to help! They even want me for a testimonial.. funny huh? I kind of had to half laugh and wonder if I'm one of their first pathetic people to do something so lame. But I figured in the mean time I'd update since there's it's not going to make a difference either way. I definitely want to say everyone should use them because it's SO worth it.. trust me I know first hand.

I want to make this a not so huge Christmas/New Years/More Christmas post.. because I had it broken down into a week and then after everything deleted I realized nope., not going to do all the work again to stressful. We're starting over and making it simple, that and I've got to so much to write about in the following few days I don't want to overwhelm everyone!

It all started off like this with tons of snow and plenty of bundling..

Alex deciding that he was sick and tired of being left downstairs, and he decided he would follow daddy up the stairs.

Christmas was great, Alex got royally spoiled like always and we're considering that we might be buying him more clothes than toys for his birthday. I really thought I'd never say that but, after everything he's got enough toys for two or three babies! Jenny got royally spoiled too, she got a cat from her mom, Game Cube..barbies, brats and tons of more stuff from us and don't forget the rest of the Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents either. Her face was priceless, I think it made John and my Christmas this year. John and I got great stuff too, we never need anything and we're the type of people that if we want something we'll just go out and buy it instead of waiting until Christmas or Birthdays. But of course we found things that we both HAD to have.

Pictures highlighting the moments.

That's what goes on a lot now.. that and him walking with his toys. And you wonder why I don't post as often!

Priceless.. I look at this picture over and over again

^^^ Sad to say but those aren't even half of Alex's gifts. Man.. clothes are looking better and better for his birthday! Grandparents, family, and everyone I know you see that!!

Alex had enough of the wrapping paper tearing and we thought we'd just wrap him up in it!

Helping Grandma & Grandpa open presents!

Can you tell we are a little overwhelmed by everything?

We ended up having Jenny for a few days and enjoyed every minute with her. But boy I had no idea how hard it can be for parents with two kids that our 7 years apart, and they both wanted to completely different things. But we had tons of fun going out and doing stuff, she loved the Discovery Gateway. She also loved Mario Cart and became obsessed like us.

New Years came really fast and I was still glad to spend time with family. I love being around everyone and just enjoying each other and playing games. We started off by going over to Aunt Michelle's and Uncle Jack's to see Tiff and the kids since they came into town!

The boys we're so cute the entire time and Ryley was such a helper!!

I loved seeing Lacey and Alex play together, she is SOOO cute I wanted to take her home with us but Alex and Lacey couldn't stop taking each others pacifiers away and crawling everywhere!

Then of course we went over and spent time with The Migdat Family over at Dad & Mom Ferguson. We had so much fun playing games and talking about all kind of stuff!

Alex has such a big Ferguson head that hat almost fit him hehe

Tiff, always looking cute and stylish as usual lol

And now this is what is going on at our house, a whole lot of this. In just the last few weeks Alex is doing so much new stuff.. but I figured I'd leave that for his 10 months old update. But other than that we're enjoying are Christmas gifts, and I'm being obsessed over the Wii Fit and John is obsessing over his Blackberry Storm.

I like making my posts all combined like this.. a whole lot less stressful. I still have more updates but I finally got past the whole mess of Christmas/New Years/ Blog Deleting. Which I still find pathetic.

Ok I think I've just died.

So I accidentally deleted my blog.. yeah I know I'm an idiot. Long story short, my like 5 pre-written posts are gone and I'm starting all over again. I used Bloggled (thanks Mandy.. I'd probably be crying for days without you) but it might take a few days of sacrificing time with Alex and John, and quite possibly my WiiFit.. to get things back in order.

But all in all I hope it'll all be fixed.. if not than it'll be a new blog for a new year.

=] Pray for me please.
